Players may be placed on LTIR to remove their cap hit from your teams cap calculations if the player is injured and out long term in the NHL
GM must post players name with a link to a reputable article showing proof of long term injury for it to be valid. This is meant for long term injuries, players DTD or with a twisted ankle and out 2 games are not eligible.
Players placed on LTIR must remain there for a minimum of 3 matchup periods and once they are removed from IR in the NHL must be removed from LTIR in here in a timely fashion as well.
