capfriendly has him marked down as UFA but given his age I figured he would still be RFA.

hmm I would think he should still be owned by the original team then. I have or had I forget if hes still on my team or not Mueller who I dont think ever was given a QO so his contracted ended as RFA for me so he never hit UFA even though he is one in real life. he will be my property till he signs another contract and that expires.

To confirm, the NHL QO decision has no impact on NHLDL ownership or free agent status. Whoever held Hunt’s contract at the end of last season continues to keep him through his next contract. If he terminates as a UFA, he then goes to NHLDL free agency.
